What would you count as a lower rise? How many inches? Women’s low rise is entirely different to men’s low rise as it’s always shorter!

In a diesel (to compare), I wear a 30 or 31.

I’d never heard of that Amethyst brand before, just taken a look. They do have a nice skinny look, once upon a time I’d have tried them, but these days I leave bootcut/flare alone.

You could try making a post here http://forum.thejeansblog.com/forum/women-s-jeans-for-men
They have a specific section for women’s jeans for men too!

It’s 26-28 in men’s, so in women’s it would be 24 or 0. some brands I would still have to size up to 25 or 1.

I don’t know if you ever heard of the brand Amethyst Jeans? It’s supposed to be a skinny boot cut western styled, but they have cute trendy back pockets that make them as fashionable as skinny jeans, and still have that skinny fit with a slight flair (not bell bottoms!) at the leg so you can fit boots. They have classic washes and also conservative styles if you don’t want bling.

These jeans, yes the back pockets might be a tell it’s women’s, pretty much like American Eagle, the the style of the jean isn’t really girly and it can fit slender guys pretty well. The fabric has stretch, but it still has a nice denim sturdy material, nothing like jeggings. Is there a way to upload pictures here to show the jeans I’m talking about?

Before I knew about trying women’s I used to wear Diesel jeans, usually Zathan for bootcut or Viker for a straight leg. However I used to size down 1 or even 2 sizes to get the fit I required, it was sometimes a struggle to button them up, even though the leg area was fairly easy to fit. Your size of 26-28, is that in men’s jeans or women’s? I’m generally a 30 in men’s but in the Citizens I’m a 27 which is a massive difference!

For colouring, I agree I could only go for the neutral washes too!

I used to wear men’s super skinny jeans from Hot Topic, I’m actually a waist 26-28, so I was thrilled when Hot Topic had that skin tight fit with a good price range (but they don’t stretch much and actually felt lack of movement down stairs), but on online forums, I discovered that women’s jeans might be the fit I’m looking for. After many trials and errors, I finally figured my size in junior’s which is 0 or 1 (depending on the brand), plus they stretch!

Judging from your pictures, your jeans look very conservative compared to those fashion jeans girls wear. I’ve been so comfy in my jeans and skin so to say, I actually wear jeans like Hollister, American Eagle, YMI Wanna betta butt jeans, jeggings, and now I even purchased a boyfriend skinny jean with the most best fit I’ve ever worn in a pair of denim. Despite certain jeans like YMI, I still look like a guy wearing a nice pair of jeans, of course a little bit extra with some of their designs (especially on back pockets), but in the end, nobody really bats an eye.

I like women’s jeans as long as it’s a neutral color like blue, black, navy, khaki, but not hot pink lol! I can’t stop buying them and they’re always on specials!
